Overview
The Livingston Computing Center, located in Tillett Hall, Room 106, consists of a General Access Lab, two classrooms each with 25 dual-booting iMacs, and three breakout rooms. Black and white printing as well as color printing is available in the lab.
Reservations can be made for either of the two classrooms, 106J1 and 106J2, for classes or meetings, and projectors are available upon request.
The Computers
The Livingston Computing Center at Tillett contains
- 18 Windows computers
- 71 iMac computers (including 50 Dual booting iMac computers in our teaching labs)
conveniently available for all students, faculty and staff to use.
Teaching Labs
The Livingston Computing Center has two (2) reservable teaching labs available for Rutgers courses or special training sessions for hands-on computer instruction: 106J1 and 106J2. These rooms have been designed to maximize functionality within the space given for the sole purpose of educating.
These rooms (106J1 and 106J2) can be reserved by Rutgers professors for classes. They each contain 25 student computers, which dual boot to both Windows and Mac OS X. Furthermore, these two rooms are available to be combined into a single larger room by taking down the dividing wall that separates them. Therefore if reserved properly the classroom can hold 50 students.
