Due to Governor Murphy’s “Stay at Home” Executive Order, all library buildings, computer labs, and student centers at Rutgers University are closed; therefore, printing services are unavailable at this time.
The Office of Information Technology advises students to continue to use digital files when possible and review the technology resources that are available. Additionally, if individuals (i.e. faculty, staff, businesses) are asking for printed copies, consult with them to see if an electronic format will suffice due to these extenuating circumstances.
Printing has changed. There is a new way to print from your laptop and check your balance. And as a new service, you now can print from smart phones and tablets too. Get details at printing.rutgers.edu
Think Before You Print
Do you really need that printout? How long before you are just going to throw out that paper? Our PrintGreen initiative has saved over 7 acres of trees already. But we all can do more. Every page less that you print not only helps the environment but also allows more money to be spent elsewhere at Rutgers: more and better computers, faster network, more sophisticated technology in classrooms. Do your part. Help us in our goal of reducing printing even further this year by only printing when you know you must.
