OIT provides technical consulting to departments; hardware/software configurations, infrastructure upgrades, security upgrades, data storage, data backup, disaster recovery. OIT technical staff offer recommendations to departments facing technical issues/problems.
OIT also provides technical hiring assistance (job descriptions, resume review, interviews) to departments lacking in-house technical expertise.
Departments needing technical advice can obtain objective input from the experienced technical staff of OIT.
