The enterprise desktop management application vendor is Dell and the product is KACE. ECS Technical Support Services operates the installation centrally and departments may request to be added as an organization. Organizations are independent silos managed by departmental IT staff. There is a very small thin client that resides on the desktop that allows for several useful functions to be executed; power management, asset management, software upgrades, imaged installations and more.
