Overview

The Cook/Douglass Computing Center at Loree serves as the main computer lab for the Cook/Douglass Campus. The site is home to the Loree Laptop Lounge, four Teaching Labs, a quiet study area (available upon request) and computers for regular student, faculty, and staff use. Student lab supervisors can be found at this site for account assistance (link for password change hours) as well as ResNet certified consultants who can help with various computing issues.

The Cook/Douglass Computing Center contains:

  • 140 Total OIT computers
  • 40 PCs
  • 100 Macs (which dual boot Windows or OS X)
  • 6 Black and white printers
  • 1 Color printer
  • 4 Teaching labs

On-Site Support

To answer any questions and provide general support, lab consultants can be found in Room 9 as well as the Laptop Lounge during general hours of operation. Lab hours of operation can be found here. As the site serves as the main computing center for the Cook/Douglass campus, lab supervisors and ResNet certified consultants can be found at this location. These student workers will be able to assist with user account issues such as password changes as well as troubleshoot and escalate personal technology issues for walk-ins.
